The New Jersey State Youth Orchestra is made up of three orchestras with students grouped by age and ability.  NJSYO also offers a chamber music program  to provide young musicians the opportunity to perform in smaller ensembles, summer music camps, and a "Learn to Play"  program for beginners on select instruments.

Audition requirements are here. Audition Requirements   You need to audition only if:

1. You are new to the Orchestra.

2. You would like to move up from 2nd to 1st violin.

3. You wish to move up to the next orchestra and meet the membership requirements.

Rehearsals begin Thursday, September 13th at 6:30pm.  SYO and PSO rehearsals at Trinity Episcopal Church, 65 W Front Street, Red Bank.  The church is located near shopping and restaurants in downtown Red Bank with ample parking across White Street in the municipal parking lot.  Enter the church from White Street.  Directions to the Church

ISO rehearsals are held at the Red Bank Charter school; 58 Oakland Street Red Bank.  Directions to Red Bank Charter School

Rehearsals for the chamber music program are at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd; 112 Middletown Road, Holmdel.  Directions to Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd  Chamber rehearsals are Saturdays at 10am.
